"Persuaders" response...

The video was very good. It showed what the real reality of advertising is how the field is moving from the TV commercials to TV shows and movies. To reach that more wider variety of people because people are just know skipping the commercials. The political aspect of advertising is changing in the biggest way because the politicians are gaining more access to people and they are able to pin point people and get them the word we need to, to not hurt the feelings of others.
People are joining/buying the brand is that people are making up there mind on a single identity to a product and saying and sticking to this and not going away form it.
The common elements are all around the place we are finding new was to get rid of the clutter in the field. That we have to get into peoples heads and see what they really want. They are headed into the right direction in many ways. But they are in ways going to far to get out to us. The political advertising is in ways going to far to reach out to people to see what they want and too see what people buy and how they run there lives is kind of scary to know that some one or system is monitoring me at what ever I buy.

Assignment #5

I went to a group that was outside of the student center and were taking pictures of people that were holding a RAW sign. They could of did better by actually explaining what RAW was and not just taking pictures. This exercise really did not bring about awarness to RAW.

The excercies today was probaly the most effective exercise that took place. To make it more effective it should of been during a better time not when class just took place but in between classes when they get out of class.

All the exercises to me brought awarness to people to not go out and get completely hammered but watch what they drink.

Assignment #3

What I put thought into before I went out and bought it was my Gateway computer. Computer, Durability, Desktops, Cow , and Best Buy these are the first five things that came to my mind. The first computer I ever used was a Gateway and the computer I have at home is a Gateway and the quality of the product shaped me to go out and buy it.

My perception matches and differs from them very big. They think of them as cows and computers just as I do but they think of them also as crap and I don't think so. If you take care of something it dosn't stop working and outdated it is very hard to keep anything updated anymore isn't.
